About the music:The composer, pianist, organplayer and accordionist Thor Backhausen has made a 40 min. long jazz/latin instrumental album with own compositions. The style is a continuation of the jazz/latin genre from the critically acclaimed vocal album from 2016: "Misen & Backhausen." The DNA of jazz is precisely improvisation, and here on the album there is plenty of improvisation. The album's genre is made distinctive here precisely by supplementing the piano sound with organ in string sections and solos, just as the accordion makes its mark with solos on the ballads.
